Be a cross partisan advocate for getting money out of politics: Join an American Promise discussion, Tuesday, July 28th at 8 pm #upcomingevents

Nancy Morgan, American Promise

Dear Friend,

Getting money out of politics isn’t a partisan issue.
It’s an American one.

Join this special call July 28th, 8-9pm ET to hear from conservative leaders bringing insight from their experience as American Promise pledge signers, elected officials past and present, and nonprofit and business leaders, all geared toward making you a powerful cross-partisan advocate.

The power of money has corrupted the system and the system won’t fix itself without massive structural change. Across the country, conservatives are stepping up, taking American Promise’s Candidate Pledge, and standing for ordinary Americans, not elite special interests. Between now and November, we need more support, and winning that support starts with you.

Special focus will be given to how you can effectively ask conservative candidates to take the American Promise Candidate Pledge. Patti Bounds and Senator Richard Briggs didn't sign randomly– they did after being asked by the Tennessee American Promise chapter!

Also on the call, you’ll get an inside look at American Promise’s best practices for making the economic argument for why this Amendment is necessary.

When we work together, we win.

P.S. We mean it when we say getting money out of politics isn't a partisan issue - support for change comes from all sides. Hear the progressive viewpoint from Rep. Ro Khanna and Nina Turner from our June call here.
